RULES AND REGULATIONS
Attendance and Absenteeism
1.Regular attendance is compulsory. A student must be present 80% of the working days physical to be promoted to the next class
2. Students should strictly follow the school timings. If late by ten minutes, they will be sent back home
3. Leave more than one day would not be granted except on submission of written application and permission of the Headmistress.
4. Parents of a child suffering from an infectious disease must send a medical certificate of their ward.
5. Parents must make sure that child attends the school on the first day and day before and after the vacation.
6. For ‘Full Attendance Award’, the student must be present on all the days including Non-Instructional Days (15th August and 26th January).
7. No half days would be allowed. The child would be allowed to go early only if there is an emergency.
8. Parents are responsible for their child’s escort (to bring and take home) before and after the school at their own risk.
9. All students must attend school regularly. Parents must NOT keep the students away from school for celebrations like marriages, thread or housewarming ceremonies, pooja, etc.
10. Children suffering from infectious diseases should NOT attend the school at least for 14 days as it infects others. They will be sent home under such circumstances. They will be exempted from exams under submission of medical certificate.
11. During the exams, children will not be allowed to go home immediately. They must be present for the entire time schedule that is specified in the evaluation timetable. The students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises without permission.
12. Sports- If children represent private clubs, federation and associations and not the school, then they will be marked absent. Absence for any other reason would be permitted only with the prior permission of the Headmistress. If the ward remains absent for any reason consecutively for three months to school, then his/her name would be struck off from the School’s General Register.
13. Parents must sign the homework ONLY after checking that their ward has completed the given homework.
14. Children are expected to be in the school premises by 8:50 AM for Std. Mini K.G. to X as it is mandatory for the children to attend prayers. In case of emergency or genuine reason, the child will be allowed till 9:10 AM for Mini K.G. to X else, the child will not be allowed to attend the school.
